What happened

Alkmaar had not lost a European home game in over three years, and for an hour they had the ball and the shots to prove why. But Juventus scored with their first two moments of quality — a brother scoring against his boyhood club, then Kolo Muani robbing a defender to make and take the second — and survived a frantic finish: a goal back at 88', a leveller celebrated and then wiped off for offside.
