What happened

Nothing separated the sides for 49 minutes — Guirassy missed an early chance and Betis had a goal ruled out for offside — before the game compressed into 23 second-half minutes: Silva's rebound, Ruibal's equaliser from a defensive error, and Karetsas's winner almost before Betis's celebrations had settled. Dortmund, level for only five minutes, saw out their third win; Betis leave with their first defeat.
