What happened

Arsenal's rotated side settled it early — Gyokeres, back in the starting eleven, created the opener and scored the second before half-time — but the second half was a different game: Slavia, one shot before the break, pinned Arsenal back, hit the post through Oskar Kubiak's header and finally scored through Nowak in the last minute of normal time. Arsenal survived the five added minutes to take the points their first half had earned.
