What happened

Inter were ahead inside eight minutes: Bisseck pressed high, won the ball back and curled his finish into the far corner. Spence then took over the right flank — his deflected cross was headed in by Esposito in the 34th minute — and Barella's assist gave Zieliński the third nine minutes after half-time.

The third goal was the signal for flares from the home support to land on the pitch and the roof, stopping the game for about two minutes. It finished a miserable night for Feyenoord, who had more of the ball but only two shots on target, and a restorative one for Inter, three days after losing the Milan derby.

Both sides, in their own words

Both sides heard. Neither believed for free. Publishing a side's version is not endorsing it — the claim checks below are where verdicts live.

Side A · Feyenoord

  • De Kuip was silenced inside eight minutes and the game was gone long before the flares came: three points from four, and a fight now just to reach the play-off round.
  • Feyenoord had more of the ball but managed only two shots on target — a famous home crowd deserved a contest and never got one.

Side B · Inter

  • The derby defeat answered in style: three goals, a clean sheet, and back-to-back Champions League wins for the first time this season.
  • Spence ran the right side and had a hand in the first two goals — a statement away win that lifts Inter to six points.
