Malaysia to pay RM10,000 to each family of the 54 Malaysians missing in the Nepal–Tibet flood, through NADMA
Malaysia will pay a one-off RM10,000 to each family of the 54 Malaysians missing since the 26 August flood in Nepal's Rasuwa district, Human Resources Minister Ramanan Ramakrishnan announced on Friday. He said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim decided the payment at Friday's Cabinet meeting, that it will be channelled through the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) following a priority list — spouse first, then parents, then children — and that the prime minister instructed that it reach families without delay.
